The new YT is extremely robust and durable. It has been tested extensively in test labs and on the test track. The chassis is hot dip galvanized. The newly designed cabin has undergone a full test program as well, including roll-over protection structure, falling object protective structure and door-testing.
The cab has been completely redesigned. New fingertip controls are positioned directly next to the seat. The cabin suspension is particularly comfortable and similar to that used in road trucks. The dashboard features a new display and provides handy space to leave work papers and a cup of coffee.
The accessbility of mechanical and electrical components throughout the vehicle has greatly improved. The dashboard can be removed and refitted within minutes. This makes the job for service engineers a whole lot easier and faster. Also repair is more efficient. Covers, bumpers and windows are easy to replace.
Our telematics solution Terberg Connect facilitates proactive and efficient maintenance.
TEA2.0 not only includes new hardware and software, but also a completely new digital dashboard which will be used in all YT models, providing drivers with a unified interface. The development of TEA2.0 was focussed on functional safety requirements, software updates over the air, and system security.
Terberg has upgraded its BC Swap Body Carrier (BC183) with a completely new cabin, stage V certified engine and a range of smaller improvements.
